1. Acceptance

By accessing setarys.xyz, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Description of Service

Setarys provides free, browser-based network diagnostic and privacy analysis tools. All tools are provided as-is, for informational purposes only. Diagnostic results are approximate and should not be used as the sole basis for security decisions.

3. Data & Privacy

Setarys does not collect, log, store, or sell any personal data. Specifically:

  • No server-side logging of IP addresses, diagnostic results, or usage patterns.
  • No cookies are set by this site.
  • No third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.) are used.
  • Diagnostic tool requests go directly from your browser to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and this server's own endpoints. No data is retained.

4. API Usage

The public API is provided free of charge. Automated use is permitted within the rate limits (60 requests/min per IP). Abuse, including attempts to circumvent rate limiting or use the API to attack third parties, will result in a permanent IP ban.

You agree not to use this service to:

  • Conduct or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Attempt to overload or disrupt the service.
  • Scrape or mirror the site for commercial purposes without permission.
  • Misrepresent the source or results of diagnostic data.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee of accuracy, uptime, or fitness for any particular purpose. Network diagnostic results depend on third-party APIs which may be unavailable or inaccurate.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Setarys and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service.

8. Open Source
